Holiday Activities
During school holidays we endeavour to hold events which develop the children’s skills and help the leaders and those from the congregation get to know them better. We have held many successful cookery days when the youngsters cook ‘proper’ meals and then sit down and enjoy sampling the items they have produced. We have also used this activity to raise funds for an emergency situation when our youngsters have enjoyed producing cakes and biscuits to sell and been able to see the results of their activity. We are privileged in having a congregation which supports their efforts. We take part in the annual Flower and Produce show, and spend a day cooking and preparing craft items and we have had much success in various classes.
